I'm currently involved in a lawsuit because they filed a black mark on my credit report for cancelling a month-to-month contract. They'd bill me. I'd call and send proof. They'd bill me. I'd call and send proof. They'd bill me. I'd call and send proof. They'd bill me. I'd call, and send a certified letter, return receipt requested. They'd bill me..... Finally AMEX told them to suck wind. I now have their mark on my credit for "bad debt." Because of this, my insurance rates went up, and I had a credit card (that I didn't use) cancelled. Yep... Stay away from Verizon. They are a bunch of robots. I heartily recommend you NOT get Verizon.
