Mattsapundit gets even better
My eagle-eyed readers will notice several new buttons at the bottom of each post. What the hell are they? I’ll tell ya.
The post’s permalink.
A printer-friendly version of the post, suitable for framing.
A form allowing you to email the post.
The post’s comments.
The RSS 2.0 feed for the post’s comments.
Possibly coming soon: buttons for converting a post to PDF and sending a link via AOL Instant Messenger.
What, no “Easy” button?
Gold jacket, green jacket. Who gives a shit?
Is that a wordpress plugin matt? Those are pretty cool.
It’s kind of a mashup of things.
The permalink and feed are straight-out-of-the-box Wordpress functions. I just tweaked the template to put them where I wanted them, and to use icons instead of text.
The print and email functions are each plugins. I just tweaked it to use an icon for the link instead of the text “print this post.”
There’s one more that you can’t see, but I can when I’m logged in. It’s an edit button (a piece of paper with a pencil), and it lets me edit the post.
